ZHUKEEPER 🎻 (珠记波) is a Toronto-based DJ/Producer and violinist blending classical virtuosity with bass-forward electronic music

Born in Shanghai and shaped by constant movement between cities and cultures, the project reflects experiences of integration, assimilation, and displacement

ZHUKEEPER has spent over a decade studying classical repertoire and performing as concertmaster before transitioning into electronic music - opening for electronic acts such as Trivecta, ARMNHMR, Elephante, CHYL, and Bishu

Projects

As he builds a cross-Pacific presence between North America and Asia, ZHUKEEPER bridges scenes, sounds, and cultures, translating movement and memory into high-impact live performance

 

- Sign (Mar 2025) – debut release featuring violin sample

- Just Dreamin (Apr 2025) – a reflection on discipline, ambition, and creative growth featuring original poetic lyrics

- Identity Crisis at T&T (Jun 2026) – a future riddim track that explores corporate assimilation and cultural dissonance

- Shanghai (Nov 2026) – a nostalgic liquid DnB single opening the concept album

- Album Name TBD (Nov 2027) – a cross-genre concept album mapping movement, memory, and growth across eight cities and ending with Shanghai (Revisited) as a reinterpreted origin

Outside of ZHUKEEPER, he serves as Executive Director of JSTDRMN, an artist incubator that has showcased 180+ emerging Toronto-based artists, and founder of Ravers Run Club
